No CA election unless ethnic issue discarded: KC
KANCHANPUR, DEC 15 -
Chairman of the Rastriya Janamorcha, Chitra Bahadur KC has said Constituent Assembly (CA) election was not possible unless ethnic issue was shunned.
Inaugurating the Fourth District Conference of the Rastriya Janamorcha, Kanchanpur, he said the CA was dissolved due to the same.
He also said there was no possibility of consensus between political parties unless the parties including UCPN(Maoist) stop voicing for ethnic issues.
Claiming that there is no possibility of ethic state in a multi-ethnic country, KC said some parties have been raising the ethnic issues to spoil the social harmony.
He called on unity between partners of the 2062-63 BS movement for the formation of a national government.
UCPN (Maoist) does not want to leave the government and Madhesis have been misusing the power, he said, and added that the government was engaged in corruption and we can not imagine development works in the country if the present government does not step down. RSS
